2019 had its fair share of hardships. I let go of far fetched dreams but came up with new ones. I gained knowledge instead of bitterness when people took advantage of my kindness. I learned how to walk away from the things that were no longer good for me despite how hard I wanted them to fit.

I found unexpected passions and flexed on some new skills. I met a handful of incredible souls but lost my number one to the afterlife; I love you Gran. I created things that I loved and I created things that I hated but in the end I know we are our own worst critic.

I was pushed to my limits but I learned to make new boundaries. I discovered what a give and take kind of year looks like. I know the things I want to improve on in the coming days and I’am grateful for the growth I obtained in the past 365 days.

I said all year long, that this, “ was one of the worst years of my life”, but as I sit back and reflect on what was, I cant help but smile. I endured alot of bullshit… and somehow, someway I was able to find the good among all the chaos and all the loss. The human spirit is an amazing thing. I cant wait to show you more of mine in the coming year
